Harrison School Uniform
Students are expected to wear a school uniform every day. The school uniform is a navy blue bottom (pant, short, or skirt) with a white collared shirt. This year, students may wear a navy blue collared shirt as well.
YPI FAMILY TECHNOLOGY PROJECT- HARRISON ADULT COMPUTER GRADUATION
Through the Family Technology Project (FTP), YPI brings computer literacy and equipment to low income families in Los Angeles. Begun in 2001 with a $1 million grant from the City of Los Angeles and corporate supporters and under the leadership of Los Angeles City Councilmember (now State Senator) Alex Padilla, the program has grown to serve families across the city. FTP now offers classes at Harrison Elementary School.
MILLION WORD CHALLENGE
Students participate in the MILLION WORD CHALLENGE by reading books and keeping a log.
